What follows is Alan Banks Description of the book when I purchased it from him in 2006.
"Bannerstones of the North American Indian," by Byron W. Knoblock. 1939. This is Knoblock's classic study of bannerstones. It includes his analysis of these interesting artifacts with photo illustrations of hundreds of bannerstones from all over the country. This is a blue cover edition. I think these are more scarce than the green cover printing. The book is about 8 by 11 inches, 596 pages. This book is from the library of Gray LaDassor who was a prominent artifact collector and officer in the Greater St. Louis Archaeological Society, Central States Archaeological Societies, and was a founder of the Redskin. LaDassor has used the book and the cover shows some wear. There are "Xs" in pencil by some of the bannerstones and I expect those are ones LaDassor owned or wanted to own. Interior pages in good condition.
